Last weekend we had an event at our church's new satellite location, Life on Lexington. The evening was a great success and ended with a powerful presentation of cardboard testimonies.

Presents come in all shapes and sizes
Ok, so, as many of you know, we have never been too keen on lots of presents for the boys birthdays. I mean, there are 3 of them celebrating together and that CAN get expensive....for all parties involved. So typically we just ask for no presents. My boys have such kind hearts and are always looking for ways to help people so together we decided to ask for some sort of donation instead of presents this year. We toyed with many ideas. Of course, their first idea was to give presents to orphans who don't have a mommy or daddy to love on them and shower them with hugs and kisses (and toys;)). I was having a hard time finding a place close by that we could all go together so we decided to donate toys to our local children's department at the hospital. The boys even asked if they could do the same thing at Christmas! I love my kids!
This idea was perfect because I also accepted a challenge on a blog I follow here. There will be more going on with our family based on this post as well! Go take a look. You might just feel God tug on your heart!
Here is a picture of the boys playing on the combined gift (aka wonderful find) Mommy bought off of craigslist. It's a lego table!

They have plenty of room to build and play with their many creations!

Lego Birthday Bash!
Here are the birthday boys. So excited about their party! Aren't those shirts cute! They were made by a mom I know, Tiffany. She is SO talented! They were perfect for our party!
Here are the goodie bags. They had lego shaped crayons, a pencil, candy and later the kids added a lego man they each got to create!
The many faces of Mom, er, I mean Lego man....hehe!
Looks like even the adults were having fun!
Oh my goodness, do you SEE all the children in that playroom. Well, maybe I forgot to mention this was originally at OUTSIDE party. But we did need some rain soooo, we moved it in!
We played pin the head on the Lego man.
MORE candy?? Yep, more candy! Look at 'em go!
Look at these DE-LIC-IOUS cupcakes by Jo-Jo! Can we say, YUM?!?!
And of course each birthday boy had their own cake (made by Kathy) and yes we still sang Happy Birthday 3 times! They each deserve their own rendition, right?!
And finally, a picture of me with my sweethearts after the party ended! Just what I like to see! All SMILES! And look, the princess had a lego shirt too! Maybe we have another future Lego-lover on our hands!
Thank you God for these precious gifts! We are so blessed to have been trusted with these beautiful children while on this earth!
Camron and Caden are 6!
It's hard to believe that my little 2 pound babies are 6 years old. 6 years ago today, 48 and 49 minutes after Jaxon's 2nd birthday, we were doubly blessed with twins....11 1/2 weeks early! The doctors told us they had roughly a 50-60% chance of survival. To this day, they never cease to amaze me!

Here is a picture of them towards the end of their NICU stay. I can't say for certain but I am fairly sure Camron is on the left and Caden is on the right with the feeding tube. It took him a little longer than Camron to learn to eat. Check out the picture below.

Camron is on the left, Caden on the right! I snapped this last night when I went in to check on them and immediately thought of the picture from the NICU. I love these "little" guys!

Jaxon is 8!
It's hard to believe that my oldest child is 8 years old today. 8 years since I became a Mommy and Chris became a "Daddy-O". We are truly blessed to have Jaxon as our son. He has such a sweet spirit. He would do anything for anyone at anytime. He is my biggest helper, my special son. He's the one who made me a Mommy.

He melts my heart!

A SUPER cool spy watch. We are in for it now! ;)

First "birthday" of the week
Pre-Birthday Sleepover
When the birthday planning started, Jaxon wanted to have a sleepover ON his birthday with his best buds. Given the craziness of the birthday schedules here, we decided to let him have his sleepover last night! The boys came home from church, played with legos, then watched a movie with popcorn (or nilla wafers if popcorn wasn't the snack of choice!)
They had a great time and were SO well behaved! 6 kids in the house.....cake ;)

Over the river and through the woods
to Granddaddy's house we go!

The view behind his house. The kids love the adventures they had here!
Sunday, Jossalyn was feeling a little under the weather. We knew she wouldn't be able to attend nursery so we decided to take the day to drive to Henderson to visit Chris' Granddaddy. Here are a few shots of our day!

Yes, Camron and Caden were pushing her then running to catch the stroller.

Oak Island 2011-Day 8
To the beach we did go, in the sand we did dig.
Home again, home again, jiggity, jig.
To the beach we did go, all the fam and the dog.
Home again, home again, jiggity jog.
To the beach we did go, and we had SO much fun.
Home again, home again, the beach trip is done.
(you probably have to know that nursery rhyme to appreciate my version....just sayin')

Oak Island 2011-Day 7
Today was our last full day here. We spent as much time as possible out on the beach enjoying the sun, the sand, the water, and most importantly, eachother. Because of that, we didn't take as many pictures! I have to say, we love this house at Oak Island. We have stayed here every year we've been since before Camron and Caden were 1 year old. They actually call this "our beach house".

Running on the beach!

Such a silly girl!

Oak Island 2011-Day 6
Today, Jaxon finally was able to surf! He picked up right where he left off last year! Camron and Caden still haven't decided to try it but I'm sure they'll pick it up quickly as well if they are anything like Daddy-O and big brother!

Heading out!

Look at him go!

They were perfectly content in playing in the sand!

My precious babies! I LOVE them! This was from our mini photo-op tonight! Of course there is more to come ;)!

Oak Island 2011-Day 5
Today started out slow! We had a BIG 'ole storm last night. Loud thunder, sideways rain, the works so this morning was slightly gloomy. That was fine by me because once again, a certain little princess decided to rise before the sun! I took advantage of the slow morning and was slow moving! Poppi, Daddy-O and Jaxon went down to the end of the island fishing. A few years back, Poppi took a picture kissing a fish he had caught....well, if Poppi did it, it must be the thing to do.....

Jaxon kissing a speckled trout.
