Ok, so, as many of you know, we have never been too keen on lots of presents for the boys birthdays. I mean, there are 3 of them celebrating together and that CAN get expensive....for all parties involved. So typically we just ask for no presents. My boys have such kind hearts and are always looking for ways to help people so together we decided to ask for some sort of donation instead of presents this year. We toyed with many ideas. Of course, their first idea was to give presents to orphans who don't have a mommy or daddy to love on them and shower them with hugs and kisses (and toys;)). I was having a hard time finding a place close by that we could all go together so we decided to donate toys to our local children's department at the hospital. The boys even asked if they could do the same thing at Christmas! I love my kids!
This idea was perfect because I also accepted a challenge on a blog I follow
here. There will be more going on with our family based on this post as well! Go take a look. You might just feel God tug on your heart!
Here is a picture of the boys playing on the combined gift (aka wonderful find) Mommy bought off of
craigslist. It's a
lego table!

They have plenty of room to build and play with their many creations!

And here is just a portion of what we will be taking to the hospital later this week! They boys are super excited about this field trip!
