11 years

Saturday Daddy-O and I celebrated 11 years!  Oh how I love that man!  We decided at the last minute to go to Oak Island for the weekend.  It was so nice!  He had flowers waiting for me in our room.  We got to just spend time together and just enjoy each other.  It was pure bliss!  

Colossal Coaster VBS

We had another great VBS at Life Community this year!  It helps that my department has THE most amazing group of women and youth working together!  We have early mornings and late afternoons but God always gives us the energy to be there with smiles (and sillies) to make it through with a bang! Marla and I had an exceptionally good time making jokes this year!  I think she even learned a thing or 2 on her iPhone during our crazy days ;).
We had funny talks about gloves, chocolate covered pretzels, students who disrobe when going potty, random people eating our food, Sweet Brown, and so much more!  Here are a few pictures of our fun week!

Happy Father's Day

Daddy-O, you are THE best dad these kids could ever ask for.  I know like every wife in the whole universe made one of those things that said, "The only thing better than having you as my husband, is our kids having you as their dad".  Well, it is SO true!
We ALL love you "to infinity and beyond".  Thank you for loving us and showing our kids how to love others the way Jesus loves!  You da bomb ;).

We finally made it!

We postponed our annual Great Wolf Lodge trip this year when Bailey was found.  We finally made it and as usual had a blast!  All the boys were tall enough for everything this year!  Joss had a fever that evening but it only slowed her down a little!  They rode the slides, played in the wave pool, swam, played Magi-quest, and more!

Another baseball season in the books

Jaxon and the Nationals finished the season in second place.  These boys did an awesome job and we couldn't be more proud of them.  Jax has improved so much.  He really has a knack for the sport he just has to remember to give it his all!  We can't wait for spring ball!

OIB

This past weekend, we were able so spend some quality time with Mimi and Grandpa at Ocean Isle Beach.  It was a wonderful weekend!  We played in the sand, swam in the ocean and the pool, the boys surfed, Joss even rode a few waves on her belly!  Ok, let me back up and be honest here, I sat on the beach and enjoyed watching my DH, aka Daddy-O, do most of these things here.  Don't get me wrong, I was the sand wiper, drink opener, towel getter, goggle fixer, snack whatever-er.....but that's easy peasy in comparison.  It also helps when you have a few extra hands!  Mimi can jump a mean wave if I do say so myself ;).  She can also drag my oldest sweet boy in from the ocean when he's been stung by a USO (unidentified swimming object).  We also got to visit Mimi and Grandpa's BFF's house on the inlet.  One word, a-ma-zing!  That is all ;)
