March for Babies
We had a great turn out today for the March for Babies Walk! I think this year has been our biggest team yet! HOW EXCITING! It was VERY hot but we all made it! Some of us went to none other than Longhorn for lunch after which was lots of fun as well! Here are a few pictures of our day! The group shot is missing the Tyler, Reeves, and Yaravitz families. Thanks again to all of you who came out and walked! Thanks, also, to everyone who helped us EXCEED our goal! Camron and Caden are so blessed to have such wonderful people to support them each year! They say "tank you vewy much" as well!

Funny Story Friday
This may be one of those things that you had to actually see/hear in order for it to be funny. The other day after nap, Camron and Caden were taking off their pull-ups and putting their underwear back on. Caden pulled his up in the front but his little bootie was still sticking out in the back. He turned around and put his butt about 3 inches from Camron's face and said in the cutest voice "ya wanna see my butt"...It was really adorable (as bad as that sounds). What makes it even funnier is Camron quickly replied..."yep!"

OH MY GOODNESS, OH MY GOODNESS
Ok, so I totally JUST found out that I am going to be doing a LIVE (yes, I said LIVE) interview with Rosemary Plybon on the Channel 2 News....THURSDAY morning for the March for Babies! AUGH!!!!!!
A Mothers Love
Picture this...I am sitting at my desk, waiting on the boys to potty and get ready for bed when I hear Camron SCREAMING at the top of his lungs. He sounds as if he has been hurt badly. I get up to go check on him and he meets me in the hall, hysterical. Jaxon goes to see what happened and comes back to inform me that he dropped his red car in the toilet. GREAT! The red car is the "choice" item that Camron LOVES today. So, I ask, "has anyone pee-peed in the potty yet?" Camron looks up at me with big ole puppy dog eyes filled with tears, bottom lip poked out so far it's a tripping hazard and shakes his head yes. GREAT! Now, I have to stick my hand in the toilet (which is gross, regardless...but with pee in it!) Of course I did it, then my hand and the car got a nice washin'! Camron was told to put ALL toys DOWN before peeing from now on!
PRAISE THE LORD
I got the results from my blood work this morning and my levels have gone DOWN! One month ago, they were 2063 and yesterday they were 985 (I think)....YAY! I am super excited! Hopefully this means the new treatment is working!

1 week left
Ok guys, there is ONE WEEK until the March for Babies walk! I have LOTS of people who have already supported us and I thank you immensely! This cause is SO near and dear to our hearts and we want to do everything we can to support them! We are so close to our goal so if you plan to donate or you usually do, please consider sponsoring our family team, The Darling Dukes! Also, I have team shirts being printed. They are SUPER cute! They have Camron and Caden's teeny tiny little footprints on the front from when they were about 1 week old and the back has "then and now" pictures of them! They are $10 for adults and $8 for children! If you want a shirt, let me know! I will be getting them this week! If you want to walk with us, please let me know that as well so I can give a head count. It's not that big of a deal. They just like to know how many people are walking TO SAVE BABIES!
Thanks so much!
Camron and Caden REALLY appreciate it!

Funny Story Friday
"Uh-Oh Daddy-O!"
A few nights ago, the boys were all in bed, I was in the kitchen cleaning up and Daddy-O went upstairs to take out his contacts and put on his jammies. All of a sudden, I hear this BIG LOUD noise...it was Daddy-O falling down the stairs, grunting all the way down. The funny part is, he was putting on his shirt as his foot slipped out from under him so as he bumped down on his bootie, his arms were sticking out of the top of his shirt which wasn't down over his head yet! I know it may seem mean to laugh about it but c'mon people, I didn't laugh until I made sure he was okay! He has a nice bruise on his arm where it was banging down the banister b/c it was stuck inside his shirt but all in all, he is JUST fine!

WOW!
We had the boys pictures done on Tuesday by an AWESOME photographer, Laura Brett. She sent me a sneak peak today and I want you all to see it as well. Click on the link to her blog and take a look at my little cuties! Now, you have to remember that Camron and Caden don't smile so easily for people they don't know but I LOVE THESE PICTURES! I can't wait to see the rest next week!

NEVER judge a book by its cover
My dad sent me this link today and I wanted to share. It is a clip from the show Britain's Got Talent. It really choked me up (which doesn't say much since I am a "SAP" anyway) but it just reiterated the fact that many people today are very judgemental based on outer appearances. I think we should all remember never to judge a book by its cover! Beauty is DEFINITELY within and those people who don't realize that just don't know what they are missing!

Funny Story Friday
Last week we were going to a birthday party and it started to rain. Nana called on the phone to see if we had rain jackets (b/c she's a worry wart =)). I told her no that the boys would be okay b/c they were not made of sugar. When I hung up Jaxon said, "Mommy, it's a good thing I'm not made of sugar b/c if I was, I would eat myself...you know how much I LOOOOOVE sweet things!!"
HAHAHA...it was great!

TOO cute not to share!

I just had to share Jaxon's writing from today. It was super cute and being the proud mama I am, I wanted to post it asap! He did it all on his own...thought of what he wanted it to say and sounded out his words....check it out! Oh, and for those of you who aren't able to read kids "stuff"...it says "The king has a sword. He rides into the sunset."

We need YOU!
On April 25th, the Darling Dukes (aka the Ambassador Family for Greensboro) will put on our walking shoes and our NEW t-shirts, grab our Little Red Wagon, and head on over to Center City Park in downtown Greensboro and WALK 3.5 miles for Camron, Caden, and every other baby who was born prematurely(....or not)! We are going to walk for a wonderful cause. We are going to walk for BABIES. Babies who were born too soon, babies who were born with disabilities, ALL BABIES. I know I have said this before but we thank God EVERY day for our children. It makes it even more realistic to think of the fight they had to face when they were born at 28.5 weeks weighing just a little more than 2 pounds. Their tiny lungs could barely open and close for them to breath. They received something called surfactant which was created and funded by the March of Dimes years ago. Thank God for that! We need your help to meet our goal...this is what we are looking at....
$1,000
- $375
______
$625 this is how far we are from meeting our goal!
25
- 1
_____
24 this is how many days we have left to meet our goal!
If you would like to support our team, you can click on the link on the right hand side of the blog OR you can go to www.marchforbabies.org/dukeboys
If you plan to walk, just let me know! If you want to buy a shirt, I will let you know prices once they are set in stone! We are OH, SO thankful for the March of Dimes. Take a look at Camron and Caden when they were just a few hours old.....
