Monday

Monday was 7 years that Chris and I have been married...WOW! 7 years of being married to your best friend, your soul mate, the love of your life....isn't it great! To surprise me for our anniversary, Chris planned a vacation to the beach with the boys. We left Saturday and just got home tonight! We had a great time and I will post more about the trip later! I can't believe Chris was able to keep this a secret from me for so long. Apparently this has been in the works since March! What a good DH!

My 3 sons are downstairs right now playing with Barbie toys....nuff said.

A day out with Thomas

We took a trip to the mountains Monday to visit Tweetsie RR and Thomas the Tank Engine. This year was lots of fun. It was our first year without a stroller...yay for not having to push one of those up those ginormous hills! It was the boys (all 3) first year riding the big rides...with Holly, not Mommy! They had a blast! Here are some pictures from our day!

is why you should wear sunscreen! I had a small pink spot on my arm for quite a while. I finally went to see the dermatologist in May to have it looked at. He biopsied it and called back to inform me that it was in fact cancerous. I could choose to put a cream on it 1-2 times a day for 6 weeks and hope that took care of it OR I could have it cut out. Now I didn't realize the scar would be quite so long when I chose the cutting part BUT I am still glad I did so I don't have to remember a cream every day for that long! Anyway...the moral of the story is....wear sunscreen!

Here is a sneak peak at the photos we had taken last Sunday at the Bicentennial Gardens! I think they are going to be cute! I wish my shirt wasn't all crinkled up...maybe because it was 104 degrees outside and muggy but that's okay...I'll live! I bet NONE of you can tell that Camron was TOTALLY pitching a fit in this picture. Notice Jaxon nicely trying to take his hand as he jerks away! That's the great thing about pics from behind, you can't tell what their faces are doing...HA!

Funny Story Friday

This is just cute....and I think it's funny! For whatever reason, Camron and Caden have started to call their stomachs "Papa bellies". I think it's b/c we joke with Papa after he eats b/c he pats his belly. Papa's actual belly is by no means big! Well, Chris recorded them doing it tonight! Notice how cute it is that Camron and Jones' jammies match while Caden's obviously do not. This would have caused me major anxiety had I been here....kidding!

School's out for SUMMER

Well, Jaxon graduated from Kindergarten last night! What a year it has been! He has learned so much and continues to amaze me daily! What a great reward...while we were out to eat after his graduation, Nana asked him what his favorite thing was that he learned about this year. His response was "learning to read and learning to write but the best part was I got to do it all with Mommy!" My heart melted! That literally was music to my ears. Being able to homeschool is such a blessing and I look forward to starting preschool with Camron and Caden and 1st grade with Jaxon!
