On the way there this morning, I hear the song Better than a Hallelujah, by Amy Grant. If you've never heard that song before, go listen to it now. It is fabulous. The chorus says:
"We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah"
How true is that? How awesome is that? I have used the word "mess" to describe myself more times than I can count since May 2nd. Just ask Chris or my Mom. Mess is defined as: A confused, troubling, or embarrassing condition; a muddle. That's not what God sees. We are beautiful in His sight. As long as we are being true to him and putting our faith in him, faith as small as a mustard seed even, He hears us.

I'm sorry you had to deal w/ the postpartum visit. That had to be difficult...and yes you'd think they would have made a notation in your chart about Jordan. I know she didn't mean to hurt you but I know it must have stung nonetheless. Still thinking about and praying for you constantly. Love u!
Ps. I love that song BTW. I'm glad you can find encouragement thru KLoves music. I have my best worship time singing in the car. Sometimes I even forget that I'm driving b/c I get so lost in the words I'm singing (oops).
You are an amazing "mess"! Your testimony that you can share with others is a pleasure to witness. I hate to see/read/hear about you suffering, but I love to see how God is using this to shape you into a more Godly woman that is an example for all of us!!!!
I love that song so much! And to know the woman that Amy Grant is just makes it so much sweeter. We are indeed messes, but oh so beautiful in the eyes of our loving and gracious Father.
I'm sure this visit was hard for you, but seeing and hearing how you have completely put your love and trust in God during this most difficult of times has been of great encouragement to me. love you and continue to pray for you!
Ali
praying for you daily, even more so since June 15th. Love you girl.
Thinking and praying for you.
I am so sorry for your loss. I'm a friend of Erin A. and she gave me your name a while ago. I wrote a long letter to you one evening and it didn't go through and I haven't tried to respond since-sorry! I lost my oldest son when he was 4 years old. I am thankful for the four years I had with him-four years I know you didn't have. Your family is in my prayers. The first year is so difficult but God uses His people to help us through this difficult life on earth. Love, Michelle Larson
