10 months!!
The princess is 10 months old today! Yesterday we {FINALLY} have one tooth that has made an appearance and another not far behind! She is standing alone and she LOVES to push her "push cart" around the house....with her brothers riding on it! She's all over the place and puts e-ver-y-thing in her mouth. We have to watch her like a hawk! She dances all the time and laughs more than anything else! We haven't found a food she doesn't like. Her smile still lights up the room. Over the past month she has decided to show some separation anxiety, but not too bad! What can I say, she loves her Mama!

Warning...CUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!
Jossalyn LOVES to dance! It helps that the boys (ok, and me and daddy-o too) are always dancing and singing and being silly! Jaxon has this obsession (lol) with a video of SF Giants player Brian Wilson with Keenan Kahill. If you haven't seen in, google it and watch the youtube. It's a hoot. Any"who" (haha), when we saw this sock monkey at Target, I had to buy it. I don't impulse buy much but this was $10 well spent. This poor little guy never gets a break around here.
Holiday for Her 2011
Friday night our church had an annual women's event that I love called Holiday for Her. I usually decorate and hostess a table or two. It was wonderful as always! One table was a "virtues" table. I got the inspiration (3 days before the event....) from a necklace given to me from one of my best friends a few years back. The verse(s) for the table were Proverbs 31:10-31. The main color was purple. The other table was a red and silver table with snowflake accents. The verse for that table was Romans 12:2. Thanks to all who came and sat with us! Love you ladies...and of course the best waiter ever!!

Battleship
The Mothers of Multiples State Convention was held in Carolina Beach this past weekend. I participated in the show and sell with a friend and had a good time while Daddy-O took the kids on a field trip to the aquarium and to Fort Fisher. Saturday evening, Nana and Poppi came down and we met my best friends from college (who I miss and love dearly) for dinner. Sunday we took a field trip to the Battleship. The boys had a blast. And yes, Daddy-O is definitely included!

Love these ladies!

Nana and Poppi with the boys at the Battleship sign. Oh, and right where we had to park since there was a Beach to Battleship Half Marathon going on....that we didn't know about of course!
The boys with Brayden, Christy and Dwayne's sweet son.

Fall Festival and Fall FUN!
We've been busy around the Duke home lately....oh wait...we're always busy around the Duke home aren't we! We carved a couple of Jack-o-lanterns this week! We scooped out ALL the seeds and roasted them! They were yummalicious! We all went to the Fall Festival at church Monday night which is always a huge hit! The kids had a great time!

Here are all of us in our costumes. We didn't purchase any this year. We used borrowed or "old" items :). Jossalyn was a flower. I was a gardener. Jaxon was a Civil War soldier. Camron was Spiderman. Caden was Iron Man.

After the Fall Festival, we went to a few houses on our street so the boys could get some candy.

Today we went to a fellow-homeschoolers home for a fall fun day! We played games, made a super cute Turkey craft and even ate Tommy Turkey for lunch! The kids had a great time with the activities and just spending time together....and so did the moms of course!

Here is Tommy....before he was eaten!

Some of the kids getting ready to "dig in"!

The kids I could catch before they ran off to play. They are all screaming b/c we saw a spider...there were lots of them....they were plastic....and on the cupcakes ;)!

A fun game of red rover. This was hilarious! It's so great to see the older children taking care of the younger ones on days like this! It was a beautiful day to spend with great friends!
